Max Payne 2 Revisited

It was has been a week since Rockstar leaked/made available the Max Payne 3 gameplay trailer. Though am still against the overall changes made in the plot,overall feel and portrayal of Max Payne in this latest installment, still I couldn't keep my eyes off the 3 minute trailer.

The Bullet time dodge,shooting, tactics and overall gameplay was really awesome.So great, that I was having strong urge to play the supposed best third person shooter game series at that very moment.

Since Rockstar are still toying with the PC release date of Max Payne 3, I had to rely on Max Payne 2.

And last three days whatever time I was getting , I played the same.

Except the graphics part(that too a little) , it never occur to me that I was playing some eight years old game.First time I played Max Payne 1 and 2 when I was in school.And now, after a long gap (Now I started working) I still say it was it is one of the best games I played till now. The main gameplay ( yaa, the VVVIMP - gameplay factor which is missing in lot of recent games today) ,weapons,slow motion bullet time (My favourite :) ) the story, the characters,their portrayal, and the awesome chemistry between Max and Mona - this game is an AWESOME !!!!

Last few days, all that I see on fb is people showing off by talking about their new kickass phone they purchased, Samsung Galaxy S2 being the prime choice.Today morning when i was surfing the net, I was amazed by Samsung's upcoming weapon - Samsung Galaxy S3. Whatever it is , its going to change defination of Mobile Phones seriously.
With all due repect for my 5800(I still love u dear :P) , presenting SAMSUNG GALAXY S3

If the above picture comes out to be the real one, it is going to be 10/10 on looks for sure.Besides, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S3 would pack Samsung’s own Exynos 4412 processor, a 32nm quad-core chip based on the ARM Cortex A9 architecture(and I am writing this current post on 1.6 Ghz PC - damn :P)

Don 2 reinstills faith in Bollywood Action Genre

Living in country like India, no one can kept himself away from cricket and bollywood for sure.Currently thanks to Lord Sachin and MSD gang, love for cricket is higher than ever before.But for Bollywood, Don 2 slowly shows a hope of rising.
About 3 years back,I promised myself to keep away from Bollywood movies after horrible movies like kambakht ishq,love aaj kal,chandni chowk to china etc.Though in this past 3 years,there have been plenty of really nice bollywood movies like 3 idiots,udaan etc.But only thing bollywood was still lacking was proper action genre.Now people may talk about Sallu bhai's wanted,bodyguard,dabangg and ajay's Singham to be action movies,but seriously thats what we people call action.Blunderous fight scenes defying newtons/einsteins law, same old storyline,humorous joke.Instead of action, they were meant to be comedy movies.
Don 2 may not be the best , but it is the best action movie from Bollywood till date (If you want to mention Dhoom series- please don't :D :D ).Don 2 with his realistic natural fight scenes is a big relief from the stupid south indian movie adapted fight scenes.Cmon in an action flick , when you see someone fighting it got to be way serious than funny. Don 2 presents a descent story with no loopholes (quite a feat,after Farhan Akhtar introduced so many twist in the movie). The direction,the scenes,the character building, the locations , and overall feel of the film was amazing.
Even of the all good reasons above, the movie may not be a hit.The reason is simple - lack of standard in viewers.People don't like to stress their minds and think about the logic or the film.All they want is to pass time for 3 hours with with their friends and family,in other words "Masala movie".There are quite more reasons why good action flicks may not work in Bollywood - prime one being as mentioned above and other being hero worship.People here watch the worst movie of their favourite actor/actress. And the other reason- specific to Don movie, comparing with old don movie.For people in this category,simple advice for you- if you want to watch Vijay watch the old don, but if you want to watch the cunning,mastermind,amazing character of badass criminal " Don " , make sure to check out Don1 and Don2 !!!

Assassin's Creed: Revelations-Bombing Time

Ubisoft -IGN has released a new video in the trailer series - "Secrets of the Ottoman Assassins". In the first episode , we witness the new weapon - hookblade with hook in shape of Eagle. In the latest Episode number 2, we catch a glimpse of demolition aspect of ACR - Bombing time.
Unlike the single smoke bombs we had in earlier AC games, ACR gonna present three new ategory of bombs - tactical,lethal and diversionary .

Tactical -
Caltrop bomb - Spike bombs
Pyrite Coin bomb - The same throwing coins thing we had in AC2 and ACB , nothing extraordinary.

Diversionary-
Smoke Signal Bombs - Again imported from earlier AC games

Splinter bomb - Much needed explosive stuff when things get wrong n guards go crazy after you

Besides,you can make your own bombs (No need of Leonardo :P :P ) , just with help of three ingredients - Shell, Gun powder and Effect.This ingredients are scattered throughout the city. So new bombs, combination expreriments , all alowed for example Tripwire Spinter bomb which works like a modern mine.

Apple has reported that Steve Jobs passed away today. To say the co-founder and former CEO of Apple was the driving force behind the company’s success would be an understatement.
Right from Ipod to Iphone and now to Ipad , he took Apple on a revolutionary journey.People are crazy about Apple products and Apple has become a supreme ruler of handheld gadgets markets.He is a legend not just among common people,Apple fan boys but even among the greatest genius minds in words today.One of the untold story is of Google itself.Back in the year 2000,when Google had start just rolling,Larry Page and Sergey Brin needed someone professional and business oriented CEO to guide the company.They rejected so many big professionals of the time (even Intel's CEO) just because they were comparing each of them with Steve Jobs.Steve jobs was more loyal to Apple and didn't wanted to quit there.So quite clearly, Apple was and is very lucky to have Steve Jobs as their mentor.

I was never a fan of Apple as such but I am a great fan of Sir Steve Jobs.He was a true visionary and thing I loved most about him was his dedication and faith in Apple.Without him, not just Apple, the whole world would have missed a lot of things.The news of him today morning was really shocking and sad.He is one my idols and constant source of Inpiration.Sir Steve Jobs is a legend, one of a kind and we are all going to miss him a lot.

And 4 days after Google, comes my birthday.So finally at 7-53 am, I officially became 22 years old.Being 22 didn't gave more privileges like after being 18 or 21 years old.But each birthday is special in itself.Last year was not that great, there were few good things , some not so good things and some really bad things.I had some dreams which crashed before my eyes and couldn't do anything to restore them back.Perhaps, some things are not in our hands and we cannot do anything about it even if we tried honestly and hard.May be as people , there are things that are written in our destiny.Anyway, but one thing remains in our hands always-the future.So even if our past keeps haunting us all day and night, best way is to ignore it and set our focus on our future.After all, it is end of the day that is going to matter.

In our sleep we get beautiful dreams as well as worst nightmares.We try to forget the horrible nightmares as quickly as we can,claiming them fictitious and unreal.But at the same time, we wish and try hard to make the beautiful ones true.Thats Life- full of adventure,drama,sadness,happiness,action,love etc. which undoubtedly is greater than any blockbuster film.

So hoping to make new friends,new adventures, explore more things,work somewhere (yup, seriously), enjoy with family ,friends and truly enjoy life and ofcourse play more games ;)

It has been 13 great years ever since the launch of Google , which brought a Worldwide Internet Revolution.Google (derived from Googol or Googolplex) a word which was limited to nerds and geeks at that time and is on the tip of every common man across the globe. Cheers and loads of the thanks and respect to the creators - Sergey Brin and Larry Page. Their achievement was one of a kind and their story too.It is funny while at the early time before launching google (then,backrub) ,they both were commited to complete their phD and just wanted to sell the google pagerank concept.No company right from biggies- Microsoft,Yahoo,AOL etc to other silicon valley companies, was ready to invest or buy into this unique concept.

It will be so foolish to invest in search engine, what profit it gonna do.That were the common statements and the duo , tired of all those claims and beliefs, did what what seem impossible - setting up their own firm.

Few colleagues, not high but normal capabilities computer machines, no direct ads, just simple design and best motto ever -" Don't be Evil " .Things that only GOOGLE makes it possible.The whole 10-point corporate philosophy of Google must be look up with both respect and inspiration by all common people,enterpreners ,corporates of the world

On 13th birthday, I just wanna thank Google for all help it has provided and even providing ( I am writing on google blogger :P ). I owe you lot.And about Sir Larry Page and Sir Sergey Brin - you are the ultimate heroes , all respect ,you rock !!!

Sem Stories - Our Most Memorable Dance

Every college, may it be junior college,graduation college or post graduation , every college has a festival.The festival is kind of refreshment for us students and also great platform to show our non-academic talents and learn lot of things.

In my case, Fusion 11 (my college festival) was special for two main reasons. First it was our people last fusion since it was our last year at PVPP(We are finally Engineers now :D ) .Second thing was , we had a blast at the fusion stage with a funny dance performance.

Well, it was not a hardcore dance with hip hop moves and all. After third year itself, we had decided that at least once before leaving the college we are going to dance on that stage. All of us. Now my group was little diverse consisting of right from skinny slender guys to fat guys. So we wanted to make a easy but funny and memorable dance. So we took a concept and improvise on it . Then there were lot of practice sessions all in the college classrooms itself. Also it was all secret. College days, we didn’t wanted anyone to copy our performance. The dance also required more people to fill the stage. There was few of us IT guys ready and interested for the dance. So it was all plus few guys and minus few guys for some days. But as I would like to say it, the dance performance was written in our destiny. And our friends from Computer branch join our gang. Needless to say there were quite arguments with the group names since it involve students from IT and Computer branch. Also about which people should dance in the front and others will be at the back. But fortunately, we solved both of the arguments in little time by choosing the best alternatives. Group name was finalized to BE IT-COMPS “GANGSTARS”. Also people with better practice were kept in the front. So the practice sessions started with all fun and rehearsing again and again. There were suggestions from each of the guys about the dance steps. Also a lot of sound mixing and editing to be done and redone again and again. Looking for random empty classrooms, even sometimes quarreling with other dance groups for the class; well it was all college time memorable fun.

And finally, there was the much awaited fusion night. There were 16 of us, and no one had dance on that stage (descent dance that is ;)) in our last 3 years. But that was a night; we were not competing for the prize. We just wanted to give a memorable performance. And we did. We got lot of claps, praises, compliments from the audience. There were whole bunch of people in front of you clapping and cheering for you, now that really a great and memorable thing. It was group performance and I was and I still am thankful to my buddies for that special night. As expected we didn’t win any prizes. But we had won something bigger than a prize that day. A really awesome memory of our college life which we are going to remember for rest of our lives for sure. Still talking about the fest, people loved our dance so we were invited to dance again on the last day of fusion for orphan kids of CARE Foundation. Well, that was another great moment in our lives.

Karnala Fort Trek - Full Detailed Guide

Karnala fort(also called Funnel Hill) is a hill fort in Raigad district about 10 km from Panvel city. Currently it is a protected place lying within the Karnala Bird Sanctuary.

Brief History : Karnala Fort was a fort of strategic importance as it overlooked the Bor pass which connected the Konkan coast to the interior of Maharashtra(Vidharba) and was the main trade route between these areas.It has been controlled and ruled by Ahmednagar sultanate, Portuguese, Marathas, British East India Company.

Height 439 m (1,440 ft) ASL
District : Raigad
Nearest City :Panvel (10 km)
Time to climb the fort(Ascend) : 2 hrs
Best Time to visit : Rainy season / Early Winter
Duration : One day Trek

How to get there :
Get a train to Panvel station (Last station on Harbour line )
Or get a ST/bus to Panvel Bus Depot
From there you can catch ST bus(Alibaug,Penn) to Karnala Bird Sanctuary (Recommended)
Or you can catch a rickshaw/tum tum/rent vehicles (will be more costly)
But I highly recommend that if possible please come by your own vehicle or book some vehicle/minibus for your group.
Either way, you will find yourself at the Karnala Bird Sanctuary Main Gate

How to return :
Seriously, this is the toughest part (Even tougher than the trek :P).
It is very difficult to get rickshaw/ST from Karnala back to Panvel depot.
During my first visit, we were lucky to get a tumtum ( 6sitter rickshaw)
Second time, we were again lucky to get a lift from a family in Sumo.
So If you have book a vehicle or have one of your own,it is really very good, since you can enjoy your time without worries exploring the beauty of karnala,without keeping eye on your watch .

Route :
Trek route has become very easy and safer.To summarize :
Karnala Fort trek = starting cement road + jungle + karnala hill
Now the karnala hill is step like with 4 step.
Still if anyone wants ,he/she can refer the route to the fort below.I have mentioned some key spots and wherever possible have embedded pictures (Click on the words for the pictures).

Karnala Main Gate (Start point)
=> Keep walking straight through the cement road
=>At the end of the cement road you will find Bird cages on your right and Guest houses on your left.
=>Walk straight ahead to find a mini dam( thats what we called it)
=> Keep walking through the narrow path into the jungle
=>Water Stream
=>Big rocks(yup, you have to climb over them :D )
=>Keep moving up through rough track
=> Big fallen tree (It was there 2 years before and I am sure it will be few years later too,itz still alive)
=> First hill step (itz top of the leftside hill,you can rest here)
=>Second hill step
=>Green rush track (Keep your cams ready :) )
=>Goddess Bhavani Temple
=> Third hill step
=>Karnala Fort

Things to Carry for the Trek :

MUST CARRY

Water - Must for every trek
Food - Snacks,not very heavy food to just make you dozed off
Band aids - Carry them,but make sure you won't need them
Win-shy - To protect your bag and yourself from rain,cold,insects etc
Light Clothes - T shirts, track pants,jeans (mosquitoes can be deadly )
Footwear - Sports/Trekking shoes (terrain is full of rocks,mud and Crabs )
Plastic Bag - To carry all the mess you make - chocolate/chips wrappers,etc
Camera - Digicam/SLR whichever you can handle easily
Cellphone - :D

Other
Torch,Extra pair of clothes,napkin,meds etc

A KIND REQUEST
Forts and Monuments are places of Historic Importance.Writing your name on the walls of the forts or littering the places and even drinking at these places is a disgrace and a direct insult to out ancestors whose blood was spilled at these places.So please don't spoil our HISTORY.

A quick snap of the kanala fort I had climb yesterday.It was my second visit to Karnala after two years.The fort is very awesome for trekking.The route is throught the woods battling trees,wines,crabs and insects.This time however was not able to click more pictures inside the fort because it was raining cats and dogs plus the climate had become really foggy then.Will upload the detail description of the fort and experiences soon.

Another utility of facebook which allows people seek attention.Nowadays, Tweeter has been more dedicated to Celebs,Sportstars etc. So everyone is happy with posting status updates from their day to day life or even sports or other worldly events.Even if no one follows your status, they are sure to like and comment on it .

3-Like
Thats part of Facebook Addiction literally.Like this page,Like this comment,status,photo,video n so on.

4-Apps
One of the most important thing,which cause people to switch from other networking sites like orkut to facebook.Many of the apps are really lame, but people are crazy abt them= android apps,iphone apps etc.Use an app, post the results and displayed them on your wall.

5-Games
Flash games look childish and easy.But they are very good at keeping u hooked up on them.In few mins, you will be addicted to them , lost track of time and inviting your friends to join the venture.Zyanga games like Mafia Wars,UNO,Farmville,Racing etc satisfy your busy gaming needs.Also you can play a variety of games with your friends online.

Thus,Facebook is ruling because it has the right blend of activities and provides a platform for people to present and promote themselves in a better way(in short Show OFF :P )

After the great success of portal, valve corporation is back again with portal 2.And believe me, portal 2 lives upto the expectation.But before jumping into portal 2, be sure to get pass with portal 1 complete.

Story: Portal 2 takes place long undefinite years after first game.Chell (protoganist) is woken by a bot call Wheatey n both try to escape the aperture labs.But unknowingly they bring Glados back to life.Rest that follows is quite obvious -Testing begins !

The story is simple with few twists and explores the mystery abt the aperture lab n infact glados to large extent.Still uniqueness of portal series lies in its dark evil humour.

Looks : The graphics are really better with the advanced version of the source engine.Although portal is not game relying heavily on graphics, some visual effects and especially the pre rendered videos are a feast to watch.

Gameplay : The basic gameplay is same as portal 1.The whole game involves use of only one harmless but very useful weapon- portal gun.Besides, the puzzles are improved in portal 2, and some levels are really tricky.

Portal 2 also got some new stuff to add variations in gameplay such as hi tech walkable pathway,attractive n repulsive force field, gels- bouncing gels,speedy gel,portal surface gel and ofcourse more turrets.Portal 2 promises addictive gameplay and does stresses ur brain nerves to a large extent(Literally,My friend got fainted after playing sum level)

Audio : Portal series thrives on audio.Seriously 10/10 for the audio.May it be dumb dialogues of Wheatey,or evil humorous quotes of glados or even the nonsense quotes of turrets,cores etc, everything is just awesome.

Overall,Portal 2 is must play game ONLY after you play portal 1.Respect to Valve for such a splendid creation of the portal universe.

                    Nothing that extraordinary improvements from AC2 to Brotherhood, Brotherhood looks like an expansion to AC2.But it won't bored you for sure, and storyline won't disappoint you either.

Storyline : Assassin Creed Brotherhood begins at the same point where AC2 ended.Desmond and Co. are busy getting deeper in Ezio's life to find the probable position of the Apple of Eden.Meanwhile,Ezio is back to Monteriggioni after his adventurous journey to rome.The next morning itself Monteriggioni is invaded by Borgia's Son Cesare.In ruins, defeated Ezio springs back to Rome for vengeance and to restored his fallen assassin Brotherhood.

Looks : The Looks and basic feel of the game is exactly like Assassins Creed 2.No modifications in graphics, but whole game is based in Rome.The city has beeen design nicely with all the major monuments like Colossoluem.

Gameplay : If you loved AC2(which I am damn sure you will), you are bound are to loved brotherhood too.Imagine upgrading Assassins Creed 2, with new city,weapons and add to it your own pack of assassins = you get Brotherhood.We get to play only one city Roma but that city is large enough.We are allowed to ride horses inside the city also(tats ovbious right ;) ) plus there are various tunnels entrances avaialble for fast travel from one location to another.

Another area of improvement is weapons and combat.We get new weapons such as CrossBow (poor man's sniper),poison darts and also provision to carry heavy weapons permanently.Developers have made combat more intense and quick in Brotherhood (But itz still easy - counterattack FTW ! ).But most significant difference between AC2 and ACB , is the presense of Brotherhood itself.Yo can recruit assassins, train them by sending them to carry out special missions.Recruited Assasins who are not on mission can be called anytime you want to kick Borgia guards asses.

The main quest is short and won't take long to complete unless you keep yourself busy with side quests.Wide range of side quests are available such as courtesians missions,templar agents missions,assassins targets,glyphs for Truth etc.There are also tasks involving buying shops and burning towers to reduce Borgia influence in rome.But the best i found was the Cristina memory quests.It uncovers the events taken place in AC2.Best thing we get to play as young Ezio in those memories.Memories are short and easy but deepens the story of Ezio(MUST PLAY).

Overall - AC Brotherhood is nice game (better to call it expansion of AC2 ). It is must if you are keen on the AC story,because brotherhood contains many events and hints will are bound to be crucial in final installment Assassins Creed Revealations.

Butterfly Effect and Destiny

      Butterfly Effect and Destiny are most of the times are confused, n are thought to be never co-existing.First for those who don't know. Destiny can be defined ( kk, i am sounding like a nerd now ) as ultimate achievement or milestone of your life. Butterfly effect is how one event leads or gives rise to another event in our lives.To elaborate more, even the smallest event happening today can give rise to a large event in distinct future.
      Now about Destiny, some people believe in it some don't.Most common concept is Destiny is fixed and must happen (as they destiny is written in your blood). But since due to some goof-ups and downs in life, people lose in the concept of faith.If you ask me , I am partial believer in such stuff.Destiny is for real but it is more general not specific.There may be many versions of it.For example let us take example of a guy called letz say Ted who is bound to get surrounded by lots n lots of money ( yaaaaaa written in blood , call it his destiny stuff ). Now destiny is bound to happen in normal conditions with atleast one of the version.We will discuss abnormal conditions ( which hardly happen ) at end of the article. The versions as by our example can be - the guy ends up as rich businessman or end up as a clerk in bank or gangster,fraud or (...there can be lot more letz just concentrate on 3 for now).So whichever version Ted ends up becoming,his Destiny is still valid. So we can say Destiny is really written for you .So what when destiny is attained? Well,there may be lot of significant accomplishments or milestones - so can be many such destinies which unlocks when one destiny is attained.
       Now about the versions - good,bad,neutral etc will depend on the path we chose.This i where ButterFly Effect comes into the picture.Let consider Ted studies hard => good to every1 => gets good job = >becomes a business man .Or he turns to bad ways n becomes finally a gangster. So Butterfly effect plays very important role in every1;'s life. It is because of it how we become friends due to small events and people fall in love and so on.
       Now if it is feeling more like some crazy astrology or too much unscientific, try to think like this.Think of destinies as methods, and life as a program consisting of many if else loops and methods and so on.Now if else part is butterfly effect , if you do this you get to do this.So its gonna b really complex program having many loops and path and that too interconnected.A truly programming masterpiece - n only world's greatest programmer can do it - GOD itself.
      The last part as I said earlier abnormal conditions (bugs or errors in programming terms ;) ).These are events which are even not plan by God (programmer).Bugs and errors lead to unstable program - program as a whole even though there is problem in a single line of code.Similarly , even one abnormal condition or event can lead to whole universe getting unstable. So solution - exceptions...remember try catch.......better watch Donnie Darko.

LOST - Short Story

Can't think of appropriate title ,suggestions are welcome.Hope you all will like the story.

Still lying on the ground, Mark finally opened finally opened his eyes slowly.Everything seem blur.Mark muttered,

"God, My head ! feeling so dizzy."

It took few seconds for him to get on his knees , but he was still confused.The environment was in ruins,pieces of rubble and glass shards scatter everywhere in the dark.Then he cast again a look at the ground and was horrified,

What the F !!!

Blood was flowing from a nearby human torso.Mark 's blood already ran cold, the dead body was with its face down.Gathering courage Mark toook few steps towards it,and he was stopped by a voice behind

"Its all done,We got to leave now"

He saw behind a Man in his forties,His clothes and gun hanging from his vest were pure indications he was a gangster.

"Heyy Who are you? Whats going on in here, OH my head, itz getting worst"

"We need to leave now,itz over.Come with me"

"I am not coming with you,Who is this guy ? You murdered him right"

The gangster just smiled,

"Well, take it easy buddy, that was just an accident,I didn't intend too"

"You stay away from me"

Suddenly there was noise of police sirens and police shouting behind the main door.

The gangster replied,

"Letz just move ok, we have plenty of time later to talk about all these"

"Through the main door,Police are already there idiot,and this is a murder scene"

"You are so funny, They cannot do anything to us, no one can"

"You deserve to die,but I don't,I got a family, and I am just not dying",

Saying so Mark jumped out of the nearby window.

The fall was about two storey, but surprisingly , Mark wasn't hurt much.He checked the time on his wrist watch.And he remembered sumthing shocking

"Andy hell, he was with me today.Please god don't say that dead body was of Andy"

He quickly thrown in memories of Andy.Andy was hi dearest neighbour and his best friend.

Mark bursts into tears ,but quickly gather faith.Perhaps it was not Andy, I have to get to his house.

He started stelthly walking on the streets and sumthing catch his eyes in tv shop

News segment was going on

"Followed by an explosion in Red Goose Hotel , police are still hunting for the culprit.Only evidence the police has found till now is of a man named Mark Thurber.

Mark slowly reached for his pockets

Crap, they found my wallet, now they will think i was the suspect.

Mark hurriedly got away from there because the news channel was flashing his photo now.

Hell this is a bad day.I have to do something.Prove to the world that i am innocent then only i can go home.

He saw police station on other side of the lane.Enough of running away, time to face your problems and let everyone learn the truth.He marched slowly into the buliding.Surprisingly a single cop was there taking a nap.

He went near him and said

"Sir"

the cop was still sleepy

"Sir, pls listen',Mark said pushing him little

The cop finally open his eyes slowly murmuring

Who the hell is this

"Sir,my name is Mark thurber,I came from that red goose hotel which was exploded few minutes ago.But I swear I didn't do anything.Instead I have seen the man who did it, I can make a sketch of him and can be your witness.Please help me, i m innocent."

the cop stood blankly staring at him and dozed off again.

Now mark had already lost his temper,The night had already taken his toll.

He lifted the gun and shouted,

"Plz can u pay attention to what i am saying for heavens sake !"

The cop woke up frightened and hurriedly ran inside a nearby room locking it from inside.

Mark was now completely frustrated,

"Great , I am all alone"

At one instant,Mark thought of shooting himself and ending everything.But then he thought of his wife.I have to get to her,atleast she would understand me.He went to his house,just few yards away and he saw a queue of people.It was a funeral.

Mark cursed again,

Oh God,It was Andy, I lost him.I had his killer infront of me and I let that bastard go alive.

He carefully went through the bushes at the rear side of the house.He was not going to risk of letting people know of his presence atleast for some time.At rear window,He saw familiar figure and he smile after what seem like a lifetime.

His Wife was near the window only sobbing.

"Lucy,Its me Mark"

Lucy started crying hard,

"Why you keep coming.They have told me everything about you.Why Mark ? Why?"

"Lucy pls,"Mark cried behind the closed window"Please Believe me, I am innocent ,I swear I didn't do anything,Please let me in,I will explain everything"

"No, pls go ,get out of here, Leave me alone plss, stop getting over my mind"Lucy cried loudly

again sobbing even worst.She took a nearby vase and threw at the window.Mark duck down quickly,just miss he thought.He got up to find his wife disappeared,Perhaps she had gone to the main hall of the house.

Slowly Mark climb in through the broken window.He slowly turned the knob of the door towards main hall, and he could see coffin and people surrounding it.The thought of Andy made him sad again.Then the next vision shook him off the ground.He saw Andy with bandages around his head entering the hall.Now Mark's head was spinning,what the hell is happening,He just ran towards the coffin now hurriedly pushing across the people and then he saw Lucy crying at his feet in the coffin.

He took one step back and saw the News segment going on the TV.

"Today a bomb blast striked Red Goose Hotel killing two people and injuring several others.The two bodies have been identified.One is of them is Roger Brown,who was the robber who carried out the act and other body is of a civilian named Mark Thurber"

Mark took few steps ahead in a state of shock.

Roger Brown,the gangster was standing at the door

"I told you no one can do us a thing,We are already dead mate !"

One thing about COD series, its always lives to your expectations and even sometimes goes beyond that.Black Ops stands no different.Undoubtly the best first person shooter of this year,Black Ops is fully packed with action which keeps you going.Also if you are thinking that black ops is completely different COD which diverts you from main COD series,better think again,Victor Reznov (World At War fame) is back.Click on images to enlarge them in new tab.

Storyline : In terms of story, Black Ops is the best of all the COD games.Call of Duty: Black Ops takes place during the Cold War, in the 1960s. The story focuses on CIA-backed clandestine black operations carried out behind enemy lines.The background story is basically like everytime, stop some sob from unleashing havoc and save world.(kk not world, just US, but most of american games- saving US is equivalent to saving the world).But the parallel story running in focus about Mason and mysterious number sequences is the heart of Black Ops.Don't read about the story anywhere first or full game will lose its charm.Also if you are kind of guy who pays more attention to story,you will get the climax in no time.

Looks : The game looks awesome in all levels.After you start a new mission, you just can't help looking at the sky and appreciating the developers.Graphics are little improved over moden warfare ( though most of the times bith games look the same). These missions take place in various locations around the globe such as the Ural Mountains in central Russia, Cuba, Laos, and Vietnam.Plus, already its COD series plus Black Operations, so lots of stunts,cool gunfights,bullet time effects ,explosions etc etc.

Gameplay : Gameplay is very important in any game, n black Ops keeps the COD FPS legend going forward.The gameplay is second best part after the story. Plenty of weapons and baddies to wack, vehicles ranging from bikes,cars,helicopters.First FPS game where you can fire and fly helicopter all by yourself from takeoff to landing.The missions have been designed awesomely.

Majority of the missions you get to play as Mason with two three missions as Hudson.My favourite mission of the game is Kowloon.Kowloon is the mission where you play as Hudson armed with dual pistols (COJ feel ;) ) and running and jumping from rooftop to rooftop battling spetsnaz.As usual the game is very short (14 short missions). and gets over in 6-7 hours maximum.Developers give the same old reason that COD is multiplayer game and not single player, but still single player matters the more.

Overall CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS is highly recommended, best FPS of the year and a very strong GOTY contendor.Still, Black Ops is not big improvement over Modern warfare 2.May be we are expecting too much from Black Ops.But Game Developers are born to surprise,so we are wrong in expecting more from next upcoming CALL OF DUTY.

We are all pissed of the latest revolving images spam link in which our friends are posting some wall messages on your Facebook wall with a link .This worm has been codenamed Blackbeard by the group of hackers and they are continuously improving their script . Earlier it was just facebook updates on your wall and writing something on others wall but now this also makes you fan of some facebook pages .

Consequences of running the javascript on your profile :

It will update your facebook status plus it will post on your friends wall and it will spread the link of that scam website .
The hacker will gain access to your personalized email something like ( 1233bhjkkoo@m.facebook.com ) through which you update your facebook status . Since sending an email to this email address will update your Facebook status anytime ,the hacker can update your Facebook Wall as long as you don’t change the email .
Please remember after running the javascript ,the hacker won’t be getting your user id or password
You will also automatically like some facebook fan pages due to this action of yours .

SOLUTION :

Clear your browser cookies and history to be safe.
You need to refresh your personalized email again so that the hacker don’t have access to your Facebook wall .
Go the Facebook Mobile from here http://www.facebook.com/mobile/ .
Scroll down to upload via email and you will find out and email address,that’s the email the hacker is using to update your Facebook account .
Click on it to get something like this.

Then click on refresh your upload email and you are done.

Best way to deal with such spam links,never click on any spam links again (Still can't understand why the hell so many people were clicking to see just Rotating images ?? :P

I just laughed, that gonna b a killer for sure.

"AYOG *****, you have screwed up everything,she has gone offline now, and she is damn angry,call her now n tell the truth."
"Call her at this time ? she will kill me, anyways, i am feeling sleepy,good night, kal dekhte hai kya karna hai woh.."
"Wait rukh saale, where are you going, i am in deep shit now"

"wait..........."
and i logged off.Tonight gonna have a very good sleep.

Next day was a holiday, and i was not surprised to find the prank was still on ,not because of sonal , but thanks to nikhil himself.He changed his facebook status about 4-5 times consisiting of the same words " Why
people always misunderstand me' , 'When I say sorry I really mean it" , "what should I do to prove you that I am really sorry'.Best thing, except three of us, nobody had a clue of it, so people were still pawning him on his updates.Then came monday, when We had to end the prank finally. When I entered the class, Rajiv grabbed and asked,
"What have you done to Nikhil"
"Why?"
"Cmon, he is posting insane status on fb,
"His status updates are always insane" - Abhishek snapped between
" Yes, but yesterday ones were too depressing,plus you have to see him in practicals,his hand were shaking like hell."
Obviously after hearing all this.Sonal said she wanted to end the prank.So finally we told him the truth.Nikhil was showering abuses on me as expected, but agreed to the fact that it was the best prank to play on everyone.After all, he is not gonna play love guru to anyone for sure.

Back at home, gave Sameer the software he wanted.Then was back online
Then came Sonal's post,
"So prankster feeling happy now ?"
"Yaa,had great fun, but anyways Thanks !"
"Why ?"
"For not playing a prank on me instead, you even had the chance to do that."
" Hmm...I was not in mood to prank you today, but beware ,next time, i may not feel the same..hehe'
"Letz see...", I replied smiling.

CHAPTER 3 - PRANK ME ,PRANK ME NOT (PART1)

Another day at college.The sem had just started, so there was not much academic work to do.Also,one more good thing was probably first lecture was off.The classroom seem quiet today.Girls were completing the assignments and boys were goofing around.After all, same assignments we guys will be taking home and going to complete them during free time.That may be while watching cricket match,football match or even boring F1 (in Sumit's case).I quickly grab a bench and just crashed on it.
About 2 hours ago, i was playing Far Cry 2.Really nasty game to play in the morning.In the game, the main protagonist who travels to Africa gets infected by malaria.So as a result, thanks to the advanced realistic graphics, the screen goes blurry and shaky after interval of time.It was seeming cool at first ,but later my head started spinning.
So there am I now, sitting in my class, feeling damn dizzy all cause of those Ubisoft idiots.Then someone tapped on my head and i was not surprised to find Nikhil,
'Hii Ayog buddy,what are you doing ? '
Nothing,just relaxing, i replied just blankly staring at the door
Just then Sonal enter the door into the class.I then look at Nikhil , who was smiling viciously.Bad timing, i thought, now time to get pawned .
"So finally, you don't need to keep your head down now as she has arrived"
"Who ?"
"Your Sweetheart,Sonal."
"Buzz off,go screw some 1 else."
"hehe, not so easy buddy.got a nice thing to troubled you with.I can see you are madly in love with her,i can tell it from your eyes', Nikhil snap back laughing insanely
"Sheessh, stop it junkhead, I am already feeling dizzy."
"Abe itna uske baaremein sochega toh yahi hoga. "
I was too pissed off, then by grace of God, or more specifically Sameer, my cell phone rang.
I was fast enough to grab the opportunity and get away from Nikhil.
Sam needed me to download some stuff.He hardly ever talks of downloading a movie or game or etc etc.
rest of the day was passed doing random timepass stuff, all consisting of quick small sessions from Nikhil,who started to play Love Guru for me, hell, Really a bad day!

Then few hrs later, i was at home, doing the most important thing - uninstalling Far Cry 2.No more dizziness finally.Then was online chatting with Ananya,Archit.Then Sam came online to give the download details.Then felt little sleepy,kk, time to end this tiring dizzy day.Then there was a pop up with Nikhil on the chat window with
"Hii Loverboy:"
God, not again.was feeling sleepy at this hour so just replied
"Sorry yaar,off to sleep now,will talk later byee"
heyy heyy, where are you going ? Your friends are still alive here, or are u going offline because Sonal is not online'
Now at this point of time, i was feeling sleepy,but still not dizzy like morning, so was in better mood to play
So started typing
"Kk, dude that's my girlfriend, why the hell are you interfering in between.I don't like you talking about her all the time, I am really possessive."
"Lolzz, really"
"So stop talking about her,you are talking as if you are the one who loves her."
Now that was the bait, now just was waiting for the fish to catch it, and there he goes
"Ohh, you finally caught me.lolzz Yaa, I really love her . I just can't live without her ..."
and he started posting random smileys
"So why are you telling me this, go tell her"
"Lolzz, right, but the problem is i feel shy to tell her.Plzz can you do it for me, please tell her my feelings'
Hell, here he goes again
Then something finally happen.As Abhishek says " Agar kisiki Sacche Dil se vaat lagana chaho toh puri kayanat tumhe madad karne pohoch jaati hai "
Sonal came online
Now time to play the big game
"Nikhil dude, go tell , now is the chance"
"Naa i am feeling shy, you tell her, guts tere mein"
Now was the my time to be evil.
I smiled open the Sonal's chatbox and typed
"Heyy Sonal , wanna play a game ? '
"Whats the catch ?"
"Subject to pawn is Nikhil ."
And as i expected, came the reply,
"Cool, count me in."

MEDAL OF HONOR SP : HANDS ON REVIEW

"Bullets or (broken) Bones ?..........well....Bones heal"

After 3 years,after MoH-Airbone, EA Games 's MEDAL OF HONOR is back again.MoH is known for being one of the best real time first person shooter game of all times with ace competitors Call of Duty and Brother in Arms.But its better to keep expectations pretty low for this latest MoH or else it can be a great disappointment.

Storyline : The story revolves around the ongoing American-taliban war in Afganisthan.Throughout the story, we get to play as DEVGRu operator - Rabbit, Delta force elite sniper Deuce,US army ranger - Adams and apache pilot -Hawkins.Half of the game , we played in the shoes of rabbit, who is main character of the whole story.The story attempts to depict the current plight of the soldiers caught in the war, but unfortunately fails to have the desired impact.The story seems pretty non-involving and the script looks dull at some places.

Night Vision ON !

New Sunrise-reminds of something

Looks : MOH looks great during daytime.But during missions at night, the environment looks dull.Even Night vision fails to lighten up things.But overall graphics are awesome.The guns,talibanis popping over,apache firing, explosions and all looks just too good.The HUD design is pretty good, but it vanishes after a time interval, which causes you to be lost most of the times in the game.

MOON ,KNIFE and PLENTY OF HEADS

Gameplay : Gameplay is pretty good with all the weapons and real time battlefield effect.It lacks lustre sometime because enemies keep popping from same locations and in large numbers.The difficulty level is pretty ok, lot of chances to kick asses and also to get your ass kick.some missions are pretty well designed, especially ones of Rabbit since they involve close combat.About the missions of Deuce-they are comfortable missions involving blasting heads from miles apart.Apache mission seems too easy as compared to other games(the helicopter mission in Bad Company was really kickass).Lastly, Adam's missions start well but start getting little boring as the game progresses.Overall, the gameplay is really very good just lacks what we can say lustre(COD and its showy things).

Overall Medal of Honor gives a very good game experience.Still, it fails to fall with the standards of the current games Bad Company 2 and COD MW2.Also with COD Black Ops on the way, expectations were pretty high on the game.But if MOH had release last year way before COD MW2, it could have been a huge success for sure
So to sum it up all, GOOD GAME, BAD RELEASE DATE !

SPLINTER CELL CONVICTION : Hands ON Review

After Splinter Cell Double Agent, UBisoft is back with Splinter Cell Conviction and our all favourite unstoppable Sam Fisher.But this time the mission is more personal.Click on images to enlarge them in new tab.

Storyline : The Story is narrated by Sam good old friend Vic.Sam Fisher has finally retired and has gone far away from the common world.But third echelon wants him back for some important assignment.With help of his third echelon comrade Anna Grim, Sam also discovers that his daughter Sarah,once thought to be dead in a car accident is alive.Then the series of events unfold, and now Sam returns to his good old spy times in search of the TRUTH.

Looks : The game looks great in different environments may it a local market or third echelon HQ or even the white house at the finale.The cutscenes are also well desgined and the script is just damn good with great dialogues.Conviction has got plenty of interrogation scenes where you have to punch,kick,bang,break your target for information.

This can be fun

The thing common between splinter cell and COD developers is that they really know how to spice up their game.The game got plenty of impressing action scenes ranging from cool melee takedowns to blasting off buildings and vehicles similar to action packed movie.But the most special thing about this splinter cell is the appearance of Sam, rather old but still the same deadly Sam Fisher.

Mark and Execute

Gameplay : The game length is average with 11 chapters( Scenes).In addition to this,Conviction has a special Denied Ops mode and Co-op mode.Basic gameplay is same as in all previous versions of the game.Stay in shadows(screen goes black and white) to remain hidden from enemies.Shoot lights ocassinally to create shadows.Plenty of cool melee attacks,takedowns,human shield tricks to be performed when you get sufficiently close to enemies.

Weapons ranged from silencer pistols to heavy assault rifles and automatic guns.Besides usual frag and flash grenades, there are plenty of new gadgets such remote mines,sticky camera,EMP etc.Also there are new Sonar googles are there too.One of the biggest shortcoming in the game, is lack of stealth, you need to get rid of every enemy in the level using gunfire msot of the time.Also some levels are made purposefully simple.The hardest part of the whole game was when third echelon guys showed up (the one with red googles) rest the game is easy.

Overall the game is highly recommended,gameplay may get tense at time,but still its fun.There are plenty of areas where the game can improve, so we can look forward to ubisoft for these areas in the next Splinter Cell.Till then,enjoy Conviction.

Next few days were spend in planning the revival.
First of all decided to take life easy.The worst had already happen so anything that is going to follow will be good enough.
So got of from bed,downloaded some movies and search again desperately for some old low graphics games which could run on my pc and then left for college.
In college,I was not surprised to find Sumit and Vineet already in class well before time.
These two guys, n because of them, I had to attend all boring lectures.
Vineet was as usual glancing through some maths book and I seriously didn't wanted to interrupt him.Every guy and gal i have met till now were fans of some movies,books,movie stars, sportstars n so on,But Vineet only guy i encountered who can go talking whole day about how great maths kumbojkar book is and how deadly kumbojkar + Prof Parasniis is and so on.More crazier were his dreams,always telling me and sumit that he always dreamed of having professors parasnis and welankar as his uncles and on.

About Sumit,he is a quiet guy , to be more specific very very quiet guy.Be it lecture,recess or tech fest, he always talks less.Least bothered by movies,watching girls,gaming and all.Only thing, he atleast talks about openly is about studies and sports-cricket,football,F1 etc(kk, this list is long enough)
To start a topic, I asked Sumit,
Heyy, whats wrong with that nerd girl, gone little less active than in sem1,Got lousy after scoring highest,I guess.
Vineet stopped reading and said
She is not the topper , some other guy top last sem.You don't have any idea about it.
"well, i had plenty of mess of myself to think about lately", I smiled away
Rest of the day was full with crappy lectures.Even one professor gave the term end date,which was just 3 weeks away.And also announcement of mid term exams which were going to be in next week with 70% portion.DEAD !!!
At the end of the day was surprised to find even Vineet frustrated
"This is insane, Definitely not going to work, submissions and f damn everything is pending and when will we get time to study"
"Hmm, everything will get complete , even there are people doing engineering too",Sumit replied
'Ya, but these crappy lectures are pure waste of time',Vineet was still frustrated
As far I was concerned , I was happy to hear such things from Vineet so just joined in,
"Yaa,I agree with Vineet, time wasting crappy lectures.Even i am thinking of studying hard of studying hard this time.'
"Thinking ?"
"Ya,i mean already thought that i going to study really hard"
"Hmm, so better start studying then, IPL is coming ", Sumit said
"IPL ? do you think thats gonna work, after epic failure of ICL ?"
"At this f time, everything else will work for sure",Vineet replied
And next day , Vineet had a new improved college timetable.It was our original timetable plus with pencil marks scribbled throughout.Then he explained it to me and Sumit, how we can bunk most of the lectures without letting our attendance fall below 75%(MU people really try to scare us by 75 % criteria, and they have been successful so far i can say).A crazy plan, but it work off perfectly, giving us enough time for studying and random playtime.
And then , submissions began,which were not a big problem thanks to Vineet and Sumit who used to have everything ready on time.Only one practical exam was there and that too of Java, so was way too easy.Then began the actual exams.This sem we had only five subjects but I had 1 more subject to worry.Well, first 2 weeks were spend in gathering books,IMPs,mid term papers from other colleges.Sumit and Archit were there to help with my extra subject (bonus subject i can say).Also Sameer and Vineet were assisting for the current sem subjects.A lot of distractions were there,with loads of good movies on the way and most importantly IPL-which was a great hit.But all of the things went just fine.Got that subject cleared and scored 70+ in sem2, and things were back to normal pretty soon.
To add to the fun, even got a new gaming pc and was soon gaming like old days.
Starting a new game on my new pc, was playing carefully and slowly, on which my friend said,
"Why scared so much,its just a game,You respawn again if u die"
To which I smiled and winked at him,"RESPAWN right !"

CHAPTER 1 - RESPAWN (PART 1)

"When you are doing engineering in MU, remember anything is possible"

For many people Engineering starts from the first day of college itself.For me, it started in the second sem because I then I understood what engineering is.One hell of a incident taught my that.
That day, the atmosphere in college was very tense.Everyone knew the reason for it.Sitting in the class we all freshers were least interested (err...actually we never are ) to what the professor was mumbling.Then one guy went yelling sometime outside the class and the next moment everyone was just racing ahead to the ground floor.
The whole staircase was crowdy,then after loads of bumping finally reached a place near the Notice board,Heyy the results are out.
SEM1 exams were not pretty good to me though.I was thinking of getting average scores.Anyways,back to the notice board, i knew the result was no good,but was little excited that i will get to result first from my own eyes.Right from first standard, i never got see my results at first.Everyone use to tell my scores before me.Then came the spoiler,a guy (now i barely remember who he was, frankly i am still hunting to kill him), who just graped me from behind and was yelling like lunatic.
'Ayog bro,you got one subject left"
And well he was correct, saw the board and just left home( there was not much left to see now).For I knew , life was never going to be same now.
At home, i received a grand welcome.I was already depressed to listen any more praises.Then went off to swimming.

Just dived under water, felt little better, then some one pull my head up , I was left gasping for breath.
"What happen ?" I asked
And there was Nitish,a 15 yr guy i me during my swimming coaching.
Look at the hot girl, seems new admission, let's go for intro,whats say ?
Naa, not in a mood
Hmm, you are in no mood for girls, are you ok ?
Naa, m fine, just no idea what am wanna do
Just go and woo her
Woo her with what ?
Hmm, nice question, u r in engg coll ri8, just go tell about your marks and how cool ur coll lyf is n all
Ohh great i muttered to myself,
Then nxt week was passed in depression, getting loads of comments from family,friends.Only there was one thing, i can't say that it was a good thing, still,my best buddy Archit was there literally in the same pain.He also had the same subject left.One drawback, we were getting pawned from both of our parents and that too badly. Then one day i had full half hour first time serious talk with my brother, could remember only few words of conversation later,
"Come on bro, you are in Engineering and that too in Mumbai engineering.Anything is possible here.Even dumbest of dumbest people become engineers and even toppers struggle hard in it.I am not saying you are not studying enough but perhaps you are not studying properly.Take help from your friends"

Then There was I , sitting on a bench in class.The classroom seem empty.Just then a voice whispered,
You are not letting this all go so easy right ?
I was just confused " what are you talking about ?
You don't have any other hot topic currently in life, do u ? said the guy laughing
"hmm, ..kk...so what do you want to tell "
"Nothing special.A.....you remembered playing mortal kombat or street fighter

MY GAMES : MAFIA 2 : HANDS ON REVIEW

MAFIA II

"A Good Wiseguy is Hard to Find"

MAFIA 2 , from 2K Games recreates the American-Italian mafia style world - money,guns,expensive suits,expensive cars,cigars and of course women.The game is set between 1940s and 50s-the so called period of organised crime governed by mafia families.

Storyline:The game tells the story of Vito Scaletta who sets his foot in the criminal world along with his best Friend Joe barbolov.After that the story travels from war,empire state city,city jail, drugs,smuggling,robbery,murder and of course the Mafia families.The dialogues and script is well written,story lacks depth at some points but overall is good though.Finally the ending may be rather unpleasing for some people(including me).

Looks :The Illusion game engine does the trick.The game is based on open environment like GTA series.The Empire Bay city looks awesome.Right from its primitive look shown in earlier part of game with rusty cars and snow-clad streets to a better retro look with a completely makeover new york city replica.But, its a pity that the gameplay is linear, and doesn't allow us to enjoy this full city.The Graphics are really nice,with some animations way ahead of other same genre games today for e.g you can't stop being amused by animations of the pedestrians,a guy coming out of taxi and paying the fare,a woman placing her ear on the doorway to hear quarrel,simply looks fascinating.

Gameplay : The length of the game is average (15 Chapters) and gameplay is really very easy (except two-three events) .The enemy AI is very dumb at times making them easy targets for probable headshots.Most of the WW2 era weapons are there in the game with typical gangster ones too.The game has very few bugs/glitches issue, more likely to be fixed by a patch in future.Rest the gameplay gets repetitive at time (same old schedule ,wake up in morning, pick up the call and go wack someone).Besides, the game has got plenty of fist fighting,car chasing,mass shootout etc moments.

Overall the game is very good (not that great , still upto the expectations).Plenty of awesome moments.I still remember how I kill one mafia boss through rolling car from above like in Wanted movie.Definitely worth playing.Click on the screens for a better view.
